I have XS and it's great for a dog the size of a chihuahua or even a boxer neck size. My dog doesn't really notice the collar. It's bulky, but what it's designed for is the least of my worries. It comes with a charger for the collar only. So if you lose or damage it, you will not be able to use the collar as intended. My dog has long hair so they also cover the headlights but that's my fault lol but the only thing I have a problem with too is that she only has bulbs on one side of the collar which means it not quite about the collar. Neck. I was afraid I might have ordered it too small, but it has many size options.
