I tested it on my work laptop and my home desktop. The sound depends on how good your headphones are, and the recording depends a lot on how good your microphone is. I don't have a left and right channel as others have written. The only downside I find at the moment is that the ports feel a little flimsy. I've only hooked it up a couple of times so I guess we'll see how they perform in the near future. Adapter.
