Pieces in Salted Caramel

Ordered Chocolate and Salted Caramel. chocolate is ok But in every salted caramel we've had so far, it's been thick. We can't go back because we drank 3 out of 4 in the first crate of the fall. I'm not sure what these chunks are, but it's weird swallowing chunks while drinking. I hope it's just that scent.
