The new lock had to be broken in

I bought this kit to replace a joycon lock that would not close. A video on YouTube made it easy to fix. After the lock was replaced I checked and it was securely locked but it got stuck and I couldn't get it out without using a credit card. I thought maybe I installed the new lock wrong. For about 2 days I had to use the card to disable the joycon. The new lock must have broken because it worked great after the 2nd day. I'm glad I put off changing the lock again because this lock works great now. Hope that helps!
