Review on 📻 BaoFeng UV-5R High Power Two Way Radio with Extra Battery, Speaker, Antenna, USB Program Cable, and Earpiece for Portable Ham Communication by Dan Phillips

The extended antenna is poorly made. The boot came promptly and was disconnected upon arrival. The radio works with a standard antenna and has decent sound quality. The AC charging adapter is bad right out of the box. It's well below average, but I wasn't expecting much. Overall the whole package isn't exactly terrible and you get what you pay for. Programming is weird/difficult, but everyone already knows it. After a little more testing, I might keep it as a spare or for rent, but I wouldn't rely on it being my primary KD5IWP
