Review on RCA Amplified Antenna Discontinued Manufacturer by Wesley Sergio

I agree with most of the comments in the 4 star reviews. I bought this antenna for my new bedroom HDTV. It replaced the Phillips antenna that was just junk! Constant adjustment was required and during the adjustment one of the blades broke (very weak). RCA needs to be retuned from time to time, but not as often, but more importantly, it packs TWICE as many channels as Phillips - all the channels I need except one. INITIAL REVIEW UPDATE: I've been using this antenna for 10 years now. months and it worked very well. It didn't include a few channels that I thought it should have. For a while it will work fine on all channels received without adjustments, and then one day I'll have to move it to receive a specific station. One day, for unknown reasons, one of the pillars broke in half. Now, 10 months later, the amplification is not working, so I can no longer receive most channels. I wiggle the cable in the connection and the blue light comes on for a second, so the problem seems to be in the connection. I think this antenna should have lasted over 10 months (less if you count when the rod broke) so I wouldn't recommend this antenna to anyone again.
