This is a very affordable battery powered pepper (or salt) grinder. I give 4 stars because of the cost. It is easy to fill and has different sizes, pepper is ground in it - theoretically. This is the finest grind I have, but it tends to throw out fairly large chunks of pepper. I'd rather grind it smaller, but. It's great when I only have one hand. If it were even finer ground, I would use it for salt as well. But it won't, as large chunks will taste disastrous with salt. It also has a light that lets you see how much pepper has been ground. I would buy this again. The good points far outweigh this - especially at the price it's sold for. Enjoy!
