An affordable tablet monitor that I wish I had known about before!

If you are looking for an affordable tablet monitor, I definitely recommend the Veikk VK1200. Although not their largest model, it is of the quality I have come to expect from Veikk products. This would be absolutely perfect for an aspiring artist or professional/hobbyist looking to make the switch from a standard tablet without burning a hole in their wallet. The VK1200 comes in perfect packaging. Included in the box is a glove, cleaning cloth, power and HDMI cables, two pens, and a pen holder that can also hold some extra nibs. In fact, this tablet comes with so many pens that I don't expect to run out anytime soon! The tablet itself feels very solid and overall it's just incredibly beautiful and elegant. I like that the screen is matte and not just glassy. This makes drawing feel more natural and creates just enough resistance to keep my pen from slipping all over the place. The hotkeys are easy to program and absolutely time-saving. I couldn't live without her. I like to program not only the undo and redo button but also the flip button so I can easily flip the screen horizontally. The power cord is USB so make sure you have enough USB ports or buy a docking station. . An HDMI cable is of course an HDMI cable. I work from a desktop and didn't realize I only had one HDMI port so I had to buy an adapter but it was fine! At this price point, it doesn't come with a kickstand either, which is good too. . I found a relatively cheap tablet stand at Revain that works great! There is almost no parallax on this monitor (meaning the cursor is not aligned directly with the pen tip). The only time I notice parallax is when trying to click a setting/tab/option in Clips Studio, but that's only when I'm holding my stylus at too great an angle. Which brings me to the pen. It is very light and battery free. I love it. It's big but feels good in the hand. Let me not forget that the stylus seems to jump a bit when pressed, which I like too. All in all, this tablet is amazing. I love drawing on it. I drew the image included here with this tablet and had absolutely no problems. I cannot recommend Veikk products more highly. I will definitely be using this little guy for bigger projects that my iPad can't handle!
