I bought this phone and case/holster because of my work environment. I'm outside in temperatures > 100°F, dirt and water are a big factor. So far the case has met my expectations. I have yet to test the strength of the magnet on the back of the case, but I just ordered a magnetic phone mount for my work vehicle. Phone The case holds the phone very firmly. First, I pulled the phone out by grabbing the sides of the phone, which wasn't ideal as I accidentally pressed the xcover button on the side of the phone that I had installed to open a work-related app. Now I take out the phone using the finger holder on the back of the case. Just open it, insert your finger and pull out your phone! What will they come up with next. I had some issues with the fingerprint scanner when the case was on, but I just added a duplicate fingerprint while the case was on and the issue was resolved. This case increases the dimensions of the phone, but as said, this case/holster is only used during work. The phone is now built to withstand harsh environments, so some may not need a case. The case and the magnet were decisive for me. I needed my phone to be available at work and I use navigation quite a bit when driving from place to place. At the time of purchase I did not see any other options that included a holster and magnet for the Galaxy xcover pro. I don't know if there's anything better now but I'm very happy with my purchase.
