Review on 📐 Efficient A4 Paper Trimmer: Heavy Duty Guillotine Cutter with 12 Sheet Capacity for Home Office Use by Denise Davis

Bought to replace my trusty old wood trimmer that I have had for 30 years. This one is a lot lighter than the old one (which is both good and bad) and it cuts surprisingly well. I love that it has an extra clip/guard that keeps the paper in place and keeps your fingers away. The magnetic paper stop is optional and of little use. The block at the top that you need to press the top of the paper against has a seam where it connects to the table top. If you place a piece of paper against it and don't get very close, the paper can actually slip about an eighth of an inch at either end into the seam. If you're not careful, it's very easy getting an indirect cut because your paper is not positioned directly at the stop. This only happens the first time your paper hits one of the edges, not when you come right into it. This comes very close to ruining the product, but since it's pretty easy to avoid once you're aware of it, I'll base my review more on its paper-cutting ability. 3.5 stars.
