This is a great stand for Halo - the smaller tripod is already broken with it and tired of moving it around the coffee table and making major adjustments to the keystone. The stand is tediously adjustable - meaning you can set it to multiple heights, which are then "locked" unless you unscrew the tubes and add or subtract the length. There is a short extension that allows the existing power cord to reach the top of the fully extended stand. Some buyers have doubts about the lifespan of the ball seat above. So far, so good. It may loosen at first, but is easy to tighten. I would caution against over tightening as it looks like you can get through it all without TOO much effort. But it fixes the projector securely with a reasonable amount of torque applied to the set screw. There is a power adapter at the base and you feed the cord through the stand's tube and it comes out through the hole at the top. complete with removable gasket. The base is really stable, even at 2/3 the height (I didn't make it as tall as possible due to the room layout). The instructions are entirely in Chinese, so the finer details of the setup are left to graphic interpretation and common sense, but it's pretty straightforward. Conclusion: If you have an XGIMI Halo or a similarly powerful XGIMI projector, this is a great articulated yet semi-permanent stand that looks sleek, solid and exceptionally functional. with XGIMI devices. It's just way more expensive than it looks. But I knew what was going on and it exceeded my expectations even if the price was maybe too high.
