I purchased this product and installed it on a brand new Macbook Pro 16' i7 computer for $2600 and within 24 hours I opened my laptop and there was a thin tear down the middle of the screen starting right where that cover was. I removed the cover immediately, but the damage was already done. A screen repair costs more than 3/4 the cost of a laptop and it was probably the worst moment that could ever happen to me. If you have new laptops with advanced screens, just know that such a product is not worth the risk. Nowadays, the failure of a light bulb on the screen means that the entire device has to be replaced.
