These are stone lights meaning they are fitted to SUVs under extreme driving conditions. That being said, here's what I did to mitigate the shortcomings of this product. 1. Harness all wires. Place the controller in a 4-seat waterproof plastic box, and then install the box. Leave the cable ducts open for ventilation. The control cables are too small. It's probably good for suspense, but not durable. The lights are good but the rest of the facility is very cheaply made. If you want to add a wire harness, mount the controller in a waterproof location and treat the thin wire on the controller (16 gauge I). trust me, then everything will be fine.
