Difference of video projectors to 4k

FYI I switched to this projector after owning an Optoma HD26, a 1080p projector, for several years. While I'm happy with the HD26, I wanted more image clarity, more lumens, darker blacks and more vibrant colors; Because movies like The Dark Knight had so many dark scenes, it was almost impossible to watch them on the HD26. I use my projector about 6 hours a day, it mounts on the living room ceiling and is the only viewing option in the living room. The HD26 has been a workhorse, I have replaced at least 6 bulbs and 2 color discs in 6 years of use. If I hadn't dropped it on the floor from ceiling height when removing it, it would still work great. The Optoma UHD35 mounts on the same bracket I installed for the HD26, but with a different mounting plate. I get the same screen size as the HD26 without changing the mounting bracket position. Throw is perfect for my scenario. When I turned on the projector, I was amazed! The image quality is instantly recognizable and excellent even at 1080p. All images are clear and detailed. The color palette is amazing, this projector produces BRIGHT colours. It's definitely impressive in 4k, offering more detail, more color and a more detailed image. I've compared this projector to the uhd38, uhd50 and ben qs entry-level projectors and found it to be the best entry-level/budget projector for the net price: 3600 lumens, 4k and a 15,000-hour lamp in eco mode are just some of the key features that influenced my decision to have. I don't consider this a budget projector, although it's one of the cheapest options, it's a very powerful projector with a lot of wow factors built in.
