Simple design but fun for a child. They are soft and easy to clean. Rings are great for little hands. The only thing I don't like are the clips. They are some kind of metal and if they are not attached to anything, the child will put them in their mouth. It is also not easy to open or close. This aspect isn't necessarily a bad thing, but there are better clip designs out there. I'm sure this can be removed if it becomes a problem. I like to be safe, so I just attach it to a car seat or stroller hood. They appear to hang and dangle in front of the child, but the clips are out of reach.
