Review on CyberPower ENVIROSENSOR: Advanced Ethernet Environmental Sensor for Enhanced Monitoring by Robert Espinoza

I use this to monitor the Ambient temperature which, in combination with the RMCARD305 (or any other compatible RMCARD Cyberpower), allows me to shut down systems in case a power failure occurs and the server room overheats for too long. It should be noted that the sensor appears to be somewhat insulated against rapid temperature changes; I have a small room and used this to check the air conditioner inlet temperature to monitor temperature fluctuations. It only showed a 1F difference between AC on and off when the watchdog timer 15 is showing more of a 2.5F swing (AC is showing a 4F swing) - Anyway, this is best at an average ambient temperature of around 5F minutes.
