I've seen a few people say you can't turn the light off but you absolutely can! Next to the power button is a button that toggles between 7 different lighting modes. If you press and hold this button, voilà! The lighting switches off and on again. Yes, the power button ONLY turns off the fans, but the light button, when held down, turns the light on or off. Otherwise there are no complaints. It keeps my laptop nice and cool, not too loud, the light is cool, and you can tip your sandals if that's your jam. Also comes with 2 USB ports on the back, overall one hell of a fan.
