I had Osram bulbs in my truck so it was nice to see that they offer more expensive options. They are noticeably brighter than standard bulbs, with perhaps a slight difference in color temperature. They are definitely not 7000k or even 6000k. So if you are looking for a shade of blue I would recommend going elsewhere. If you're looking for "white" and can actually see the road better than your lightbulbs, then this is the ticket for you. I knew from various research methods that these tubes would be good and would hit the 5000k mark I was aiming for, even though they are sold in "blue gain" and 7000k. Higher K rating = more color and less visible light, which is exactly what you're trying to achieve. For me it was the look that actually changed the bulbs and upgraded the lighting for night riding. They warm up a little to a blue color, but as soon as they warm up they turn pure white.
