Good monitor, bad stand

Bought when I tested positive for COVID. My wife has taken the home office and extra monitors with me, and I had to work remotely at my dining table and needed extra screen real estate asap. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by this screen - I'm not sure you'll find anything similar at this price point. As others have pointed out, the stand and lid combo sucks, but the price allows for a relatively small downside. Pros: - Color is decent - maybe a little darker than I'd like, but I really don't expect a portable screen to live up to my Mac's Retina display. - No external power required - just plug USB-C into my Mac and you're good to go. - The portability to size ratio is pretty good. It fits my 15" MacBook screen almost perfectly in terms of height and width, folds up and fits easily in my bag next to my computer. With him. Otherwise, it's light and easy to transport. He actually has my second monitor with him now replaced at work because it's so easy to carry around and reduces the clutter on my desk Cons: As mentioned above the screen protector and stand are poor once you set it up everything will work fine but find out which combination of creases and creases makes for a stable screen is far from intuitive. I've attached an image of what works for me. Your results may vary. Neutral: speakers. I haven't used them and can't vouch for the quality I would be surprised if there was anything special about them but they are a nice addition.

Pros
  • EYE CARE AND LOW BLUE LIGHT. Eye-care technology minimizes eye fatigue with flicker-free backlighting and advanced blue light filters while delivering stunning color image quality.
Cons
  • Limited viewing angles.
