I have three standard Strongbacks and one of these. I wanted this lower chair to lighten my beach load.Two things: 1.) Sand is no friend to any of these chair - unless you're equipped with an air duster or something to blow the sand off the legs/feet before folding back up; & 2.) This low profile version adds strained my lower back no matter how my legs are positioned. I am 5'0" and have had lower back issues for a few years now. The full height chairs are wonderful and extremely comfortable to sit in.
