These are nice chairs, substantial. Good for my hubby- who is a taller guy over 250#. The only negative is that we used these once- didn't extend the front legs- which was fine; but, the next time we used them at a concert- we did extend the front legs and then found out one of the feet was put on backwards. Of course, we had thrown the boxes away.

We were surprised it broke on the first use given the product claims. Comfortable enough even though it is lower than most beach or picnic chairs. We preferred the Tommy Bahama Chair we purchased that was less expensive and more durable. We would love to receive a return to try again if possible from the manufacturer. One of the arms that connected to the back - the plastic snapped.

Lower to the ground than a typical beach chair. I like it for myself, but bought it for my husband because he loves his strongback camping chair, he’s 6’4” so it’s difficult to get in and out of it. We sit in beach chairs every weekend & he never chooses this one for himself.

I bought this for a Galveston beach trip. The chair worked excellent. Easy open and close and can hold three hundred pounds. My wife and I sat in one just fine.

Bought 2, had 1 replacement. All three broke. Joint pins are easily bent from normal use, great concept but cheap parts.

I have three standard Strongbacks and one of these. I wanted this lower chair to lighten my beach load.Two things: 1.) Sand is no friend to any of these chair - unless you're equipped with an air duster or something to blow the sand off the legs/feet before folding back up; & 2.) This low profile version adds strained my lower back no matter how my legs are positioned. I am 5'0" and have had lower back issues for a few years now. This is the most comfortable event chair I’ve ever had. I’m 6’3, 220 lbs and it fits perfectly! Very well constructed, easy to transport. It is well worth the money.They offer an option for one that rocks back a little bit, but I went with the basic one and I’m glad I did. The back feet plant well and swivel, so you can easily rock this one back if you want.Excellent design and build quality!

My family and I spend a lot of time at the beach. A lot. I’ve owned many different brands and styles of beach chairs over the years, and this is hands-down my favorite. I’ve always disliked how most of the fold-up chairs make you slump, and are very uncomfortable on your back after sitting for a long while. These are so supportive and they really do correct your posture. I do also like the design of the low arms, and the fact that the seat is so much wider than average. The fabric doesn’t stick

Only lasted 8 months of light beach chair use, very poor quality plastic fittings, 2 plastic fittings broke chair not useable ;-((.

Only complaint is I wish the back of the chair was just a little more leaned back…it isn’t bad, just a personal preference I guess. They do make an adjustable one but it was out of stock when I needed it so I got this one. No other complaints though. Rock solid and pretty darn happy with my purchase.

I wish this had a head rest to be able to lay my head back! Other than that, it’s very comfortable for your back but not your neck.

This is the most comfortable camp chair ever! Super supportive on lumbar spine. It’s very large. For reference, I’m a smaller person-5’2” and 115 lbs. My 5’10, 180 lb partner also finds it very comfy. He ordered his own!

I weigh a little under 300lbs and am over 6ft tall. I bought the chair to use on the beach. It's been in the house all winter being used for a gaming chair. I wouldn't recommend if you are too out of shape cause the chair is very low to the ground and takes balance and arm strength to get in and out of. If you don't mind the height of the chair. It does a very good job of supporting my weight and is comfortable.

I’ll never sit in my Tommy Bahama chair again. This chair is really comfortable and easy on the back. If standard beach chairs hurt your back, you will not be disappointed in this. Well worth the hefty $70 price.

Chair is very fragile! It claims to be sturdy and strong but this is the 2nd time one has broken in the exact same spot! The rivets break easily on the seat area. I’ve had it replaced once and the new one broke again after a few camping trips. Just past the return window!
