Such a cute scarf for kids! It's not too thick and a bit thinner than some knitted scarves, but still well made and keeps my baby nice and warm when we're out and about in the winter months. The size is small enough for a four to five year old child, but long enough to be used until at least seven years old (maybe even more). Red yarn is bold and bright. It's a bit delicate, and while the directions say it can be hand washed or machine washed on the gentle cycle, I personally recommend hand washing and then line drying , which is what I did. This is my child's second scarf from this company and I am very happy with the overall quality.
