not the best, but good for late night TV
While they say latency is imperceptible, it is definitely perceptible. I use an optical connection and when watching TV on TV the sound is definitely late. The product does NOT come with a power adapter. It comes with a USB cable to connect to the USB cube. If you're looking for something that offers good Bluetooth connection AND sound without lag. I would look elsewhere.
