Convenient, but the cold shoe mount is small.
Much more practical than I thought. The 1/4 holes are perfect for mounting a monitor, but the only downside is the cold shoe mount. It's too thin to attach a cold shoe to it and make sure it's secure. The cold shoe tongues are quite thick and strong, but other cold shoe mounts will sag a bit.
