I had high hopes for this inexpensive multifunction amplifier. My goal was to put this in my office, connected to two bookshelf speakers. I've connected a portable CD player and Google Chromecast audio system to stream music. After a few weeks it developed an audible background hum that persisted on all inputs. It didn't change when you adjusted the volume. Four months later, when I turned it off, I was greeted with a very loud popping sound. And now, five months later, there are intermittent audio cuts, punctuated by a weird electronic hum for about a second. It almost sounds like a transformer exploding in the distance. I emailed Pyle support and after I provided a video detailing the hum and buzz they said they needed to get the unit fixed. I would ship it back at my own expense and would need to preauthorize a $60 out of warranty repair fee. Also, it takes 4-6 weeks. Given that this is more than what I paid for this machine. I will not do this. This is very disappointing as I have bought from Pyle in the past with no issues. Sorry Pyle is not only a bad product but terrible customer service in the Revain era. I might not agree with that, but if you want to play the market, you also need to play the customer service game.
