Nice & thick! Can’t say that for a lot of Dog beds.
It is a sturdy bed, I have a Rhodesian Ridgeback and she can sprawl out on this Goliath bed and still has room to move around on it. I like the L shaped cushion because she likes to hang her head off of the one side of her beds.The cover easily comes off to wash. I hadn’t done that yet but I played around with the zipper.I am not going to say it’s crew proof. My dog is not a chewer. but I don’t think it’s chew ”proof”. nothing really IS, if the animal is determined enough, they will tear anything up. and I’m not going to be chewing on it, ssoooo there ya have it.Great bed for my big baby!
