Very easy to set up with the Philips Hue app and easy to integrate with Alexa and Siri (Apple Home Kit). I've noticed that Alexa sometimes doesn't work with voice commands. It seemed very finicky as it happened from time to time but not regularly. I'd say the exact same voice prompt and Alexa sometimes worked or didn't. I never understood why it was like that. Surprisingly, I found Siri to be the easiest to use since I wear an Apple Watch most of the time and I only have one 3rd Gen Echo Dot in my living room so it doesn't pick up my voice commands when I'm in another Place. Room. I didn't have full volume on my Echo Dot, that might explain it. I've found that Alexa responds to my voice commands instantly, while Siri takes a few seconds most of the time, but still ends up doing what I want; there was only a slight delay. One annoying issue I had was Apple HomeKit adding one of my zones twice, and when I synced Apple HomeKit to my Hue Hub via the Philips Hue app, my ambient light zone showed up twice. It didn't affect my lights outside; They worked perfectly, it always showed that I had a double zone outside. There is probably a way to fix this, but I never really worried about it as the light still worked fine and it didn't affect any of my schedules I had set for turning the light on and off. This is a great starter kit for anyone looking to make their home smarter. Good value for money! I also like that each lightbulb communicates with each other via Zigbee; not every lightbulb tries to connect to the hub or your router. This gives you much more freedom to add lightbulbs around the house or outside without worrying about whether or not the WiFi signal is reaching. I intend to buy additional smart LED bulbs from Philips to add to my other rooms and would highly recommend them! FYI, the bulbs that come with this kit are soft white, not white (various shades of white).
