I haven't had it long enough to see the impact on my electric bill, but I like the modularity of this source. I just wish the cords weren't so stiff. EDIT 4-23-18: So there was a problem a few weeks ago. The main thing is that it switches off under heavy load. I tested the RAM, CPU, GPU and motherboard and they all came out clean, so it's definitely a PSU. I ordered a replacement from Revain and the problem went away as soon as I plugged it into my computer. I sent the defective one back to EVGA for RMA a few days ago, let's see what happens. This source and EVGA in general has a good reputation so I'm willing to pass it off as a fluke, but I'm deducting a star.
