Review on Plissoft Synthetic Shaving Brush by Razorock by Kayty Michaels

I bought this brush because of the great reviews I saw on shaving websites and I was not disappointed. As this is a synthetic brush you cannot expect it to perform the same as a natural (boar/badger) brush. There are some things that natural brushes do a little better at, like keeping them warm. Plastics take longer to heat up and retain heat shorter. No big deal to me. My old badger brush worked fine, but for the price, this synthetic brush has a much tighter knot and the fibers feel soft and supple. I found it creates a lot of lather with both bar soaps and creams, it just takes a little practice to get the right water to soap ratio - nothing that experienced wet shavers are unfamiliar with. In short, it outperforms my old badger brush in every way except heat retention. Two thumbs up.
