Suitable for travel
I put my rod in and tested it on the plane. I sealed the lid with tape to ensure it doesn't tear during flight on the plane. I went to Alaska and used my poke. I packed my poke back up and flew home. He's still in that pipe. The lid stays. The hose is not damaged in any way. I would use it again and again. Excellent quality. However, I would buy a longer one to accommodate a normal rod length. I have to break one of my poles to fit it and it's barely enough to close the lid. I was really concerned, just a little bit, that the bar would bend. Not me.
