One hour battery life but great picture. Really good night vision but it doesn't work when plugged in. If it's not connected to a battery it will die after 60 minutes, so either have an outlet nearby or get creative and buy a portable charger to extend battery life. Another problem was that I missed some important things that got overwritten because the drive mode didn't work. won't take effect, or at least I couldn't tell. There's a tiny LED that turns blue, red, and half blue/half red, and once you get to those colors it's pretty easy to read. But once installed, it's impossible to tell if you've got it on the move or on a cycle. Loop records 5-minute videos 24/7 for about eight hours and then starts overwriting itself. I lost everything in the process. A couple of times after installing it (it takes me about 5 minutes to find the right angle and make sure it's hidden) I thought I'd set the camera moving but spotted it a few days after I took it out and plugged it in. it was in loop mode the whole time, overwriting itself. If I could change anything, it would be to make the camera somehow clearer about whether it's in motion or in a loop. The display flashes a series of blue and red sequences to let you know what it's set to and it's really unclear. Setting the camera to shoot is easy, but motion is questionable at best unless you're studying the sequence of flashing lights, which is clear I still can't get it right after two months. All in all I would return it if not worth it. It's worth the money and does what it's supposed to (just not quite clear)
