Review on Evary Portable Monitor External Desktop Protective 15.6", 1920X1080MP, 60Hz, Anti-Glare Coating, Glossy Screen, Tilt Adjustment, E1, HDMI by Brian Handal

A little awkward to use although a good screen

Works very well right out of the box. The uncomfortable part is the included magnetic stand/cover. You must have it on a hard surface, anything less hard, be careful. When unpacking it I almost fell down, I thought the lid was glued. When the screen broke off and fell off, I managed to grip the lid tighter to avoid disaster. However, this screen can also be set in reverse. So I will choose the mounting options later. I'm not going to buy a grippy mount to hold on to. To support a universal mount, the screen has a larger rear offset. The lid is okay in a pinch, but I wish it had a better grip on the bottom rather than sitting in a slippery vinyl groove. You will receive three cables. USB-C to USB-C, USB to USC-C and HDMI to HDMI mini. I was hoping to connect this to a camera but it looks like I'll need an HDMI mini to mini HDMI connector. However, it's okay. The screen seems bright enough. There's also a physical brightness switch/pointer on the bottom left of the screen. At full brightness, this can be 85% of the Surface Book's brightness at full brightness. Connected to the surface, you don't need to connect it to a power source. good monitor I wish the cover was stronger. Otherwise, this is a solid four-star monitor.
