Love the idea of โ€‹โ€‹this sleeve

I received the original knee pad, tried it and will be returning it as it doesn't exactly meet my needs. Namely support for a torn meniscus when curling. Here are my main issues with the corset: First, the lycra sleeve is too loose. I like the idea of this sleeve, but it's too loose for my leg (16.25" in diameter, 3" above the knee). This caused the sleeves to bunch up when the brace was buckled on and was too uncomfortable for actual sporting events (I imagine this would have caused severe irritation behind the knees). Second, the patella support straps are too short to actually support the patella. I have to wear a knee orthosis due to a torn medial meniscus in my left knee. I really like the idea of the patella straps as I figured they were long enough to actually support my patella and minimize stress on the meniscus. I was terribly wrong. Because these straps are terribly short, the patella straps only wrapped around the back of my knee and only went to the front of my knee. This caused the kneecap to buckle and caused a lot of discomfort to my injured knee. The design can be greatly improved with an extra 3-5 inches of length on these straps to actually support the patella rather than create tension. So this brace is well made but poorly constructed. This is a classic one-size-fits-all case. All products are not suitable for everyone. However, I would be interested in re-testing your product if the above design changes are made.
