software, mmm? Where is it and how does it work.

This camera never suited me. It must be plug and play. The instructions say to download the software but the camera won't start. I even asked two different people from the customer service department to send me several different links for a piece of software, but that didn't help the camera function either. In fact, I know it wasn't my USB ports that went bad, and I'm experienced with simple tasks like downloading and installing software, so my lack of experience isn't the issue. I just couldn't get this camera to do anything, no light, no noise and again I honestly can't say it's a bad camera because I couldn't see anything. But my rating is only based on my experience with it. However, customer service was very quick to respond to my emails with questions. However it looks solid, it looks well made and durable, I expect it to be a great camera when it works. This isn't a Wi-Fi camera like I thought when I bought it, but it's probably my fault for overlooking that spec. This is just a USB camera. I hope this helps someone and I hope everyone else has a great experience with the camera. It just wasn't a camera for me. For the price I expected ease of use.
