I purchased this item in January 2019 to cover my 150hp Mercury 4 stroke engine. I was hesitant due to the size of the four-stroke engine. it is slightly larger than two-stroke models. I put it on and it fit just right. It was a bit tight but everything went well. I like this model of engine cover because it also covers the bottom block. I wanted to keep rain/snow off the prop and bottom block. The current date is 12/11/2019. He removed the cover from the motor, when he grabbed the top part to tighten the clearance, a cartridge escaped from the cover. The bay didn't even last a year. My boat is outside all year round. I think dry rot won't last long.
