These are great if you want to charge your phone from a battery. My phone's battery started draining excessively due to bluetooth (this could only be fixed by rooting the phone, which wasn't an option for me). Because of this, I had to charge the phone more often than I would have liked. If that were an option I would try just plugging the phone into a charger to charge it, but sometimes I had to resort to batteries. Before I got these cables I mostly used 3 inch and 4 foot cables. These cables worked great when I wanted to keep the battery in my pocket and take my phone with me. But if I didn't want to carry my phone with me or put the battery in my pocket, I had to deal with the extra cord length. The excess length was pretty annoying. I saw these cables on Amazon and decided to give it a try. This is the perfect length for me to use my phone and batteries. I often turn the battery so that the USB-A port is facing up and then the cable runs from there to the USB-C port on the bottom of my phone. There is enough play for this configuration to work with most phones and battery packs. I've had these cables for almost six months now and they've held up well for what I consider light use. I recommend it to anyone who is tired of fumbling with long cables.
