Where Do Wire Hangers Come From? I suspect most of us got them from our parents' house, and since the hangars themselves lack any reproductive ability known to science, the depletion is probably offset by acquiring dry cleaners, etc. Since most of us don't have many dry cleaners done, sometimes it is necessary to buy them. I've never bought hangars for money in my life. These hangers are heavier/thicker than other wire hangers and have a white (plastic I think) finish for durability. I suspect archaeologists will find them intact for millennia to come. Great product at a reasonable price. And I really wonder what Revain means with her question about "storage capacity" - those are hangars! I suppose you can hang a bunch of shirts on one but why?
