I love these slippers. After reading the reviews on whether they were "fake" I was a bit concerned. I'm glad I took the risk! These flip flops are so comfortable and the cork and white stripes assure me I won't see them everywhere I go. However, as one reviewer noted, the size on the box is different than the size on the shoe. In my case, I ordered a size 9 (my usual size), which is reflected in the packaging. However, the soles of the shoes have a printed size 8. I would be concerned if there weren't two things: 1.) if they sent me an actual size 9, they would be too big; and 2.) Due to my concerns that these are fakes, I decided not to order my 22 year old daughter in the same color as her, so I ordered a different color for her directly from the adidas website ( they were out of cork and out of white in their size). I sent them straight to her in Florida and to my surprise the size 8 I ordered for her turned out to be a size 7 printed on the sole of the shoe - and it was straight from adidas! *shrugs* I took off a star from them because as you can see from the photos I've included, the strips are slightly but imperceptibly curled right around the edges, as if someone tried to remove the strips to lift or scrape. Another reason I took off a star is that I was angry that ordering a size 9 was $32.99. If I had ordered a size 8 for my daughter the cost would have been $46.99. What is that?! I didn't think that was fair, but I really wanted the slides. lol. All this to say that I am very satisfied with my purchase.
