Review on πŸ’† Revitalize Your Skin with SKIN&CO Roma Truffle Therapy Anti-Age Regenerative Face Cream, 1.7 Fl Oz by Eliza Porter

Revainrating 3 out of 5

bad packaging and very expensive

This is an ounce "rejuvenating" skin cream. I use products like this in the evenings after my shower and I have to say it seems to be doing a good job of helping skin feel and look good. It smoothes small lines of dryness, leaves the skin soft and smooth, imparts a healthy "radiance" and makes the skin firmer overall for a more youthful appearance. It's not the strongest moisturizer, so it's not as good for dry skin as some others. I have no doubt that it works as well or better than some other products, but there are other factors that made me decline. Firstly the packaging was terrible and some of the cream leaked and smeared around the rim of the jar (see photo). For a premium product ($60/ounce at the time of this review), this is unforgivable as the product is wasted and the consumer has to clean up the mess. The cream absorbs well into the skin and is somewhat thick and creamy. You don't have to use it often, but you won't get decent coverage if you use it sparingly either. I estimate that with daily use on the face and upper neck with minimal coverage, one can can last 6-8 weeks. Considering the price, I think the value of the results is not enough. I still found that $20 an ounce. L'Oreal Revitalift Bright Reveal is as good as premium products like this one. It does not surpass it (I would say on the same level) and costs three times more.
