It rotates beautifully
I bought a set to use on a chair when I'm scrapbooking. This allows me to roll from side to side for supplies without twisting my back each time. The seat was sturdy enough and comfortable for long days of scrapbooking. I used it on a regular stool without any difficulty. Light. I can attach some non-slip material to the bottom. Not that it slid, no, but sometimes it slid backwards, especially when I leaned forward hard.
