This product works as advertised. A few comments on some information in other posts here. I've taken the advice of several posts and pre-bent the spacers to loosen the connection so they don't break. There was an error. Some of them broke when I tightened the adjustment wedge with a wrench. This problem is very difficult to solve without removing tiles that have already been placed. After this happened a few times I stopped using the spacers I had over the weekend and never had this problem again. As mentioned in other posts, the key to removing the pad sister is a rubber mallet. It is enough to hit the seal well with a hammer and they will immediately pop out. Finally, I followed the advice and made sure that a flimsy thin set didn't form at the base of the spacers. I see how that would create a problem. I have literally no tiling experience and these things made the job look like it was done by a pro.
