I recently purchased the men's indigo Donald J Pliner Robbie Penny Loafers and have been wearing them for a few weeks now. While I have a few positive things to say about the shoe, I have mixed feelings overall. First, the color is fantastic. Indigo is a rich and deep shade that really catches the eye and adds a nice pop of color to any outfit. Additionally, the shoes are well constructed and feel sturdy and durable. However, I did find that they took a little time to break in and get comfortable, which was a bit disappointing given the price of these shoes. One of my biggest complaints about Robbie Penny Loafers is their fit. I wear a size 7.5 in most shoes but these moccasins are too tight on my feet. This made the break-in period even more awkward and I regret not ordering half a size up. The loafers also lacked arch support, which can be an issue for some wearers. Overall, I would give the Donald J Pliner, Indigo Robbie Penny Loafer Men's Loafer 7.5 stars out of 3. While the color and construction are impressive, the lack of comfort and uncomfortable fit prevent me from wholeheartedly recommending this shoe.
