First of all, great job on Revane for delivering this first class item in one day! I ordered it last night and it arrived today! This is the perfect port/dock extender solution for my HP Envy laptop. It has the following ports: 1 HDMI port that supports extended display from my laptop. With the laptop's HDMI port, I can now support 3 monitors, including my laptop's monitor running in extended desktop mode. I love having 3 monitors! I connected this HDMI port to my 4K TV and checked if it supports 4K resolution. While I don't need 4K, it's nice to know it's available when I need it. 3 - Hi-Speed USB 3.0 ports. Ideal for connecting high speed peripherals such as external backup HDDs or SSDs, USB drives etc. I have verified that they all work with various USB drives I have including USB thumb drives and my USB Passport drive with 1TB for backup. 1 USB 2.0 port. This is perfect for my wireless keyboard and mouse transmitter that can always be plugged in (see image). 1 SD card connector and 1 micro SD card connector. Additionally, the storage capacity of SD and Micro SD devices has grown so large that they can easily be considered standalone or backup storage that simply plugs into a hub. 256GB-500GB microSD cards are available at a reasonable price and are a great backup alternative to external hard drives. The USB-C power port is the port that connects the hub to a powerful USB-C power adapter to power your laptop. connected. This offers a true docking station, providing power for charging as well as all external connections with a single USB-C connection to the laptop. Unfortunately, as far as I know, this doesn't work with either My HP Envy or an HP computer, as HP doesn't support it. Summary: This is the perfect USB-C dock/hub I need for my laptop with optional HDMI. Connecting the monitor I needed as well as my other peripherals. I would recommend it without hesitation.
