I needed a simple replacement USB keyboard and mouse for my Mac Mini. I didn't want to spend a lot on them just because they would gather dust most of the time. I mainly use the Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse and Magic Trackpad. However, when reinstalling macOS, you will need a USB keyboard and mouse. I needed a cheap kit so I could install it after upgrading the memory and hard drive. This keyboard and mouse certainly feels light, but they feel very cheap. You can easily bend the keyboard without using much force on it. You can put it on your lap and it flexes when you lightly press the buttons. If this was my main keyboard I would send it back as it breaks quickly and easily in no time. Forget it if it withstands heavy use. The plastic case is too thin. I tried using it on a flat surface, on a desk, and due to its ultra-thin plastic body, the keyboard moved anywhere with a light tap of a key with a finger. Even a mouse would not survive constant, occasional, or heavy use. . God forbid you press it because you will easily crush the mouse in your hand if you press it too hard. Both will be crushed if you drop something light on them. Imagine a book or a folder. not very heavy objects but they would crush them if sitting there if you drop the book/binder on the table. However. if you're like me and just need a compatible keyboard and mouse for one-time or extremely infrequent use. then they will match the bill. Cheap because you don't want to spend a lot of money on something you'll never use. It's once or every few years. Just be careful where you store them and make sure there's nothing on top of them!
