Review on Weleda Childrens 1 7 Ounce Tooth Gel by Pamela Smith

This children's toothpaste comes in a metal tube with a plastic cap and like all Weleda products without foil packaging. If you're worried about the safety of metal pipes and don't want to try it, you can skip it and look for something made of plastic. I like the metal tube and prefer it to the plastic tube, but it's a little harder to squeeze and roll down. I use Weleda salt toothpaste myself, so that was the first brand I looked at. Weleda only uses natural ingredients, but I like to test individual ingredients for their safety and effectiveness (natural =/= safe or inherently better). This toothpaste was tested and approved by our 9 month old due to its slightly minty taste. I was a little worried about how well it would handle the mint flavor since most kids' toothpastes have fruity flavors for kids' taste buds. However, we had no problems. Mint is mild and keeps breath fresh. I tried it out a bit myself and found it very pleasant.
