It was plug and play straight away. There was nothing in it. I use it to replace two separate switches that I had to combine into one. I have a laptop and a PC that use the same monitor, keyboard and mouse. I've also noticed that the response time from peripherals is faster than previous switches (didn't expect that). Bravo!
