Ok but order the large

I just took my dog on her first flight and ordered one of these to carry. He's a five pound Chihuahua mix, so he's quite small. I originally ordered the medium because it was supposed to be suitable for pets up to 10 pounds. He was supposed to fit perfectly, but his head almost touched the top when standing and it was very difficult for him to turn over, which is an airline requirement. He could lie down, but that was the way it had to be. It just felt too tight for him so I sent it back and ordered a bigger one. When I put him in the middle he just stood there and looked at me like he didn't know what to do - he looked a bit scared because it was so closed. When I put him in the big one, he left. in, turned around and as usual. The big one was much better - I had room to put his blanket in so he could curl up and roll over easily. I know the larger is pretty much the max length that fits under airplane seats (19 inches) so be aware if you have a larger pet. I wouldn't put a dog over 10lbs in it unless they mind being a little tight. If you order a medium size I wouldn't take a pet over 5 or 6lbs unless it is something like a bunny that isn't I'm not very tall and can be a bit cuddly. My cat would probably be fine because she likes to be crammed into boxes she can barely fit in, so it would probably be fine for a cat over 10lbs. I really thought this size would work well for my little pup but was more comfortable in the larger one. It has a nice soft fleece on the bottom and a piece of hard plastic underneath to hold the shape. The fleece part is attached to the plastic part with Velcro and does not slip. But that means you can't put a puppy pad underneath - in case of an accident - so you have to put the puppy pad directly on top. I haven't used it, but if that's what you want, think about it. My dog seemed absolutely comfortable sleeping in it and lay in it when I carried it. It hasn't slipped, which is good. There is a Velcro pocket on one side and a mesh pocket on the end for you to put toys, treats, etc. The mesh pocket doesn't close, but there's an elastic band at the top to keep it closed pretty well. The velcro pocket is longer but not very big. It originally holds the shoulder strap and can be used for a leash or similar. The shoulder strap needs to be a bit longer as I'm only 5ft 8" and stretched it to its full length. I didn't want it to be right at my waist. And it would be nice if the shoulder strap was thicker. Padding to make it more comfortable to wear. The handles are comfortable and the carrying itself is pretty light so it wasn't difficult to carry. The part was more open to your pet while driving, it has two snap straps on one side that can be used to attach it to anything, but they are vertical not horizontal so it's a bit more difficult to attach it to your luggage to attach so that you can put it on it and carry it like this. It is possible, but only if your luggage is exactly the width of these straps. There's also an integrated luggage tag that wraps around one of the hand straps. - much better than hanging - to be comfortable There are also reflective strips on it. This stretcher has lots of mesh openings so your dog doesn't feel cramped. Once launched I was able to place the stretcher on my lap and as each end opened up I was able to pet my dog. during the flight, which definitely reassured him, but not all airlines allow it. Basically I found that the one I was flying with didn't care at all and I even took it for a while on the way home. It only opens at the ends, not the top, so your pet should be comfortable walking in it that way. Despite being a soft carrier, it holds its shape well. It was sent flat but popped out and stayed that way. I can smooth it out again to save it but I was glad it had a good structure. The fabric is nice and durable and I love the purple color. For the price, this is a great carrier. The ones at my local pet store were double the price and didn't offer much more.
