I recently purchased the unisex adidas Terrex Hyperhiker hiking shoe for my 9 year old daughter. Overall I am impressed with the quality of the shoe and its performance on the trail. The Hyperhiker has a stylish design with a combination of gray and black, making it equally attractive to boys and girls. The shoes are light but still provide adequate support and protection for my daughter's feet. The rubber outsole offers excellent traction on a variety of surfaces, while the lacing system offers a snug fit that keeps the foot in place. One downside is that shoes can run a little small, so it's important to check sizing carefully. Also, the upper can be more breathable, which can cause feet to sweat a bit after long periods of activity. That being said, the adidas Terrex Hyperhiker is a great option for kids who love to hike, explore, and adventure. It's versatile, durable and stylish. Overall, a solid 4-star rating for this kid's hiking boot.
