Lifespan 4 months in incandescent bulbs

I ordered two of these lamps to freshen the air in my room and office. The one I have in my cave started flickering a few weeks ago. now it won't even turn on. I tried a different outlet and it still doesn't work. The lightbulb she replaced is 13 years old and back in the lightbulb. When working, it gave off a very white/bright light. They seem to help with air quality.
