I couldn't believe it when I put them on for the first time, they were so light like wearing only socks. I go with UPS, so in very hot weather (South Georgia) I go very fast. We must have certain types of shoes that management dictates for us. I was wearing high lace up Irish Setter work boots which I bought last year in high season. The only thing is, it's summer and it gets really hot in these boots and you have to wear them all day. So I looked around, stumbled across them and decided to give it a try. Unfortunately they have a bit of mesh on top so the manual says not to wear them but I do anyway. When I get off the truck and fall to the ground I am so relieved when my feet feel comfortable in these shoes. And when I get back in the truck, it's so easy to take tall steps to get in, my feet aren't weighed down by heavy boots. The only downside is that I don't think they can handle me. more than a few months. I can't say 100% but I have a feeling that with the amount of work we have and the weather we have they will eventually ruin something. Then again, for the price I paid, it didn't break the bank like buying my boots did. So if they wear out quickly I can always buy 2 more pairs and not even spend the price I paid for my boots.
